We will continue to examine our program delivery and practices in order to ensure positive outcomes for the children and families we serve. We know that the development of a child emotionally, mentally, and socially is the foundation for success in later life.

Our board and staff supports the financial investment as well as the training it takes to deliver high quality educational programs to our community.

At this time we are not taking any new childcare scholarship applications to provide tuition assistance to provide quality care for children. T

he Parents as Teachers program will be available to all parents to help parents realize their role as their child’s first teacher. This would include first time prenatal moms , moms with their first child and oms with more than one child. We strongly encourage fathers to participate in this program along with the mom and child.

We also provide DSS approved training hours for directors and child care providers in centers in Laurens and surrounding counties. These training sessions are free to all participants.

Along with a generous donation from the United Way of Laurens County, we are providing the Reach Out and Read program that gives books to children at their well child visits to their medical providers.

We continue to focus on the need to always be prepared to change and improve our services.
